Qazaq Air launches new subsidized routes to Turkistan

Kazakhstan’s airline Qazaq Air has launched subsidized flights on the Kostanai – Turkistan route starting January 4. Additionally, the airline will introduce Karagandy – Turkistan subsidized flights beginning January 13, according to the Kazakh Transport Ministry. Flights from Astana to Turkistan are also set to start on January 13.

  • Kostanai – Turkistan flights will run twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, costing 31,000 tenge (US$58.95) one-way.
  • Karagandy – Turkistan flights will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, with tickets priced at 20,000 tenge (US$38) one-way.
  • Astana – Turkistan flights will also be conducted twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, with one-way tickets costing 17,000 tenge (US$32.33).

The ministry also announced that children under 14 years old will receive a 50% discount when purchasing tickets for subsidized flights.
